Britain's Christine Ohuruogu captured the gold medal of the Women's 400 meters in 49.62 seconds at the Beijing Olympic Games here on Tuesday.
Jamaica's Shericka Williams took silver in 49.69 seconds and American Sanya Richards took bronze in 49.93.
