(SHANGHAI, Sept.1) -- The Paralympic Torch Relay in Shanghai concluded at 10:30 a.m. on Monday when the last torchbearer, swimmer Pang Jiaying, who earned a silver medal and two bronze medals at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, reached the Sunshine Rehabilitation Center to light the cauldron.

Shanghai was the third stop on the "Modern China" Paralympic Torch Relay route. The relay today covered 3.1 kilometers, with each torchbearer running 50 meters inside the Shanghai Songjiang New Town college park.
