(BEIJING, September 2) -- Tang Xiaoquan, executive vice-president of BOCOG and president of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, led a group on an inspection tour of Terminals 2 and 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport for a first-hand experience of the onsite barrier-free facilities and processes in place for the Paralympic Games.
Tang inspected the arrivals processes in Terminals 2 and 3 and also boarded an aircraft to examine service guarantees in place for the Paralympic Games. In the baggage claim hall of Terminal 2, Tang spoke with the Iraqi sports delegation head, who spoke highly of the barrier-free facilities and services offered at the airport.
Tang also talked with volunteers working in the airport and presented them with smile wristbands.
After the inspection tour, Tang praised the airport staff members for their efforts and expressed hope that the airport would continue to offer excellent services during the Paralympic Games.
